Beautiful inn, delicious food … you are such warm, friendly & generous hosts. We enjoyed a stunning sunset on the lake and a nice conversation with a local fisherman. London, England

Soft bed, sleep with “spring rain” sound, delicious breakfast, beautiful weather with autumn colors and cool air, great reunion with old friends in hospitable atmosphere.Waterville, ME

Our guestrooms are designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. In each, you’ll find little unexpected touches such as a bedside sound machine, a decanter of cordials, playing cards and small games. And the usual as well: cotton balls and Q-tips, hairdryers, irons & ironing boards, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. All rooms are air conditioned in the summer.

We do have daily housekeeping service. Generally our staff tidies the rooms between 10 am and 1 pm. Many guests ask about tipping on departure. A tip is never required or expected, but you are certainly welcome to leave a gratuity to thank those who’ve attended your room, should you see fit.
